About this Series
As the title suggests, this series of paintings is inspired by the sunset. Acrylic paint stains the surface of the work in a manner that is reminiscent of the evening sky. Colours effortlessly fade into one another, blurring the boundary from one hue to the next. Wolfond’s interest and exploration in Colourfield Painting is at its height in these works.
